I was wondering if there is a book covering the first 40 years yet? I have
the "Standard Catalog of Mustang 64-01" by Brad Bowling but since I got
the 04GT I'd like to cover up to my cars year. Anyone know of any or
anything in the works?

Hey John, check out the page on the 1981 Mustangs. They say in the book that it had a 4.2 L V8 which is absolutely correct, but next to it they give the cubic inch specs as a 281 for the 4.2L.... whoops! I caught that immediatley as soon as I read that.

Anyway, there is an updated version of the "Standard Catalog of Mustangs" that goes up to the 2004 model year now.

I have that book, actually wound up with two of them for Christmas. I really was not impressed with it. Too many modded cars in there representing their model years. I hate that. At least find a stock Mustang if you are going to be talking about differences between different model years...
