As long as you have the heads off, try porting them yourself. You can pretty much leave the intake ports alone. Focus on the exhaust ports. The Windsor engines have small exhaust ports. If you do not want to spend alot of money, get some coarse and medium conical ginding stones for a 2-speed hand drill. Try to get as straight a shot from the valve to the outside of the exhaust port. Start with the coarse stone and use the high speed setting on the drill. Grind away metal untill the exhaust port is about two fingers ( that is fingers on your hand ) wide. Then use the fine stone to get a smooth finish on the exhaust port. It will take about four hours to complete each exhaust port. My engine really woke up after I ported my own heads. You will enjoy having done it yourself. By the way , you may then need larger primary tubes for your headers.

Not everyone has the same width fingers, so I thought I would measure mine. The distance across my two fingers is 4.25 inches. The home ported exhaust ports on my 302 are just a hair over 4.25 inches.
The reason I used the width of two fingers for measurement is because I wanted to have exhaust ports as large as the smallblock chevy engines I raced against on oval tracks. Whenever, I would see a chevy racer with his headers off, I would go over to his engine and see how many fingers I could get in his exhaust ports. I tried to make my 302 exhaust ports larger than the small block chevy. No head porter will port the 302 head large enough for durability reasons and risk of grinding to close to a water passage in the head.

The performers were used but only had 2000 miles on them. Compared to the new price on the afr's. but cheap is cheap. Even used afr's go for alot but that stands to reason since they are the superior head.
