Two hundred and fifty bucks? For the motor and tranny? Sounds like a steal to me. Maybe too broad of a question.
What year motor?
Condition?
Mileage?
Tranny abuse?
Condition of vehicle?
These would help but yes sounds insanely cheap

That a definite steal, but at that price id be searching every nook and cranny for somethin messed up. But if everything checks good then go for it!

 

Yeah I don't think I can pass it up can't wait to start that project 96 convertible should be fun. It's going to be my it's my #5 of all the mustangs I've owned. I also have my 06 gt to mess with to when I get board. Can't get away from these fords longest lasting beasts on the road.
