2015 Mustang Road Trip plans??
With Spring/Summer around the corner, who's going where this year in their Mustangs?
We are off to Alberta (Banff mostly) and Glacier Nat'l Park in Montana later this summer. A good 5,000 miles trek from NC and back. Hoping the gas prices stay in this same price range.

I plan on making a few trips in mine starting about a month after it comes in. First trip is to visit family in PA, then I do not know where I will end up from there.
Every year I go somewhere different and spend about a month traveling from place to place. Last year I did it on a Goldwing for the month of June, this year will be the Mustang.

First road trip this year will be to back it out of the garage and onto the driveway for a long detailing session even though it doesn't really need it. Hopefully it'll be this week.

I live in SW Ill. and I am going to New Orleans for the Indy Car race in April. I have family there as well so a good chance for a visit as well. Should be an easy drive, mostly interstate 55. Depending on circumstances I may go to Road America later this year. With 3:31's in the back the Coyote will be loafing, final drive in 6 th. is 2.15:1.

I am considering a trip from Detroit to Las Vegas. We might just fly because the drive will be a lot more expensive. I'll have a Mustang to drive in Vegas anyway since the friends we are visiting just bought a Competition Orange 2015 Mustang convertible with the manual transmission.

Drove from Boise to the Winnemucca area this weekend, to see family. 4 hour ish drive each way (55 mph speed limit in Utah SUCKS hard). 73mph on the way down (78 on the way home), and one VERY comfortable drive, yes even did that speed through Utah. Got just as good mpg as the old Vue, going both ways. Even w/ opening her up in Nevada just to see what she could do I got good mpg.
LOVING my mustang more and more as I drive her.
The worst part about the drive was ALL the bugs I got on the front! The second was the dust and dirt from the road to the ranch house.
