I will be at the Johnson City & Birmingham Shows
Should be a blast
I see that they are having a National in Vegas after the Grand National
A bit unusual isn't it? or was the Grand National moved to Vegas

Yaaaa something in my state, Pensecola, Ill make sure to be there Sat for sure. I hope these shows bring in lot of classic 65 - 69's. My favorite years. Hopefully some Sheblys and such. I have been to a few car shows but, I dont understand the catagories. Whats the difference between "Street driven", and "Daily Driven"? And what are the second, third and fourth generations? IS that like saying 60's , 70's 80's and 90's ?

The Gulf Coast Regional Mustang Club in Pensacola hosts this show every year. This one is the 27th annual, and they always have a great turnout with plenty of classics and Shelbys. ![Thumb](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
2nd Gen = 1974-1978
3rd Gen = 1979-1993
4th Gen = 1994-2004
Current Year = 2005-2006
I'll get an official description of the classes for you.

It is too bad that MCA's website isn't better than it is. I think it's a shame they don't do a better job considering how large they are.
Anywho! Go to the Pennsacola Show you will have a lot of fun! The people are great and they have a fantastic assortment of Mustangs!

Pensacola: no
Johnson City: no
Sturbridge: probably not. Conflict with other vacation. We had a blast at the last one.
Erie: Probably
Birmingham: Local Mustang club might charter a dedicated hauler to get cars there and back. Fly in and out.
Las Vegas: Already have enough people who want in on one hauler out and back. Might be two. Fly in and out.
Can anyone recommend a transport company?

I have one off-the-cuff quote from Horseless Carriage. I haven't talked to anyone about specifics yet. I'm going to look into Road Scholar also.
Filling a hauler gets them to work around our schedule, not theirs.
The Vegas trip would eat up way too much time on the road, and we might send more than one of our cars. The 40th Anniversary is still in double-digit miles.
Birmingham looks like at least two days each direction, plus gas, hotel, food.

Johnson City will most likely also have track time at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Sturbridge MA, is a great summer get-a-way show. The last one they had up there was AWESOME, and unlike any other MCA Show. It was truely Old New England Country.(Not your typical Concrete-Jungle Show)
These are all Great Road Trips!! MCA Shows usually require that Judged Vehicle's stay for the entire show.

I highly doubt that they will let "street" cars on the track at Bristol. Too banked and too small.
The last Sturbridge national had a wine / malt beverage(Smirnoff Ice etc.) tasting at the hotel Saturday. Clean your car then clean your memory.
