How much horsepower is in your garage?? With my recent '14 GT purchase I now have 1,102 HP sitting at home. It may not be from one car, but 3 will do.

GT 420 HP
R/T 372 HP
T/A 310 HP

Ummmm let me see.......

'19 Grand Sport, 460
'67 Chebby Camaro 210...but honesty I think that's overrated
'07 Mustang GT, 300

OK. Imma gonna cheat, and add the wife's car 'cause I'm running a bit behind in the HP department.

'18 Mustang GT, 460

I've had quite a few ask if the Mustang can out run the Vette. My usual answer is "that fat girl is fast at 3705 lbs, but the Vette at 3428 w/45 more lbs torque, will get up and go much quicker. Both are faster than I can think these days."

Dave, with all of those beauties, how do you decide which one to drive? Toss a coin maybe.

I guess everything in the garage counts. I found 1 more HP I forgot about on my dash.

It feels that way sometimes. For my birthday last week we went to Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock along the Blue Ridge Pkwy. The Challenger was 'out' as my wife insists on a 'vert for the Parkway. With my coolant flush scheduled for tomorrow for the GT (I dislike having old coolant in any car) I took the T/A. Here it is heading to the top of Grandfather Mountain, and also by the Forrest Gump curve (one of the scenes when he was running across the US).

Heading to the top. Only 49 degrees at 5200'.

Forrest Gump curve sign.

I probably win the trophy for lowest.

210 in the Stang, maybe 215 with the free flowing muffler, and 66 in the bike.

For a grand total of...drum roll please...276-281

Edit.I forgot to account for the tune,so maybe another 10?

Perhaps 291 then.Woo-Hoo!

Our women have something in common for sure. Mines the same way when we head to the Parkway. If the top don't drop, we ain't drivin' it. On that perfect day with the top down, riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway, it's some of the best blood pressure medicine known to man.

Of course many times we end up at Shatley Springs for some of their yummy fried chicken, and gravy (which should be it's own food group), then there go's the diet. Happy belated birthday brother.
