Having problems with my 05 Shaker 1000 for the past few months. Intermittently the audio system will have no power for about a minute after starting the car then will come on at full volume am and clock will loose its settings along with the cd changer going thru an initialization process. Anyone else experiencing this and any suggested solutions??

 

Received a good email advising that my problem may be the battery (it was more than 5 years old). BTW I have also been getting intermittent problems with the windows going completely closed when the doors are shut. Had the Ford Garage evaluate the problems and turned out the battery wasn't putting out enough voltage so had the battery replaced and no further problems at this early point. Note to self and everyone out there who may have similar problems; this could be the early signs of battery reaching the end of it's shelf life.
