Swap out your mufflers with a set you like. Look around on youtube to find a sound you like.

I'm not sure if they make them for that year, but BBK shorty Headers that'll match up to your BBK Pipes would be cool! And then switch to a higher end system after the X... like Borla, Magnaflow... yadda yadda...

Your BBK stuff though, if i'm not proven wrong by someone else, are great products so I wouldn't switch them.

I have bbk stuff on my car and liked the fit and finish of their stuff. Customer support is spot on to boot. Short tubes are not worth the cost or hassle to put on your car IMO. Long tubes I am told is at least an 8 hour job for a rookie. I forget the price or gains to be had but if I was going to put headers on I would go long tube or nothing.
as suggested above I would find some mufflers I liked first before going with headers.
I take it you have no cats??

Lift? Geez... Well in that case!! lol
My brother had an '05 Saleen S281 and bought BBK shorty headers for it... He heard the exact same thing about how difficult they were to put on with jack stands and how expensive it'd be to have it done... BUT! if you have a lift and the extra money. I mean maybe yes then.
But I would agree with Glenn... I wouldn't say they're be worth the price, Power wise...

I used to to do a lot of car shows, so that's why I'd want them.
