Have you thought about buying takeoffs from a later car? Im sure those are reasonably priced, and you coul potentially get leather and comfier seats to boot.
I see no problem with putting more into a car than it was purchased for.. but then again, i pumped $6K into a $2K II lol.

About the reasonably priced part:NO! The ones I bought are from a '96 GT. I really like them, just not the color. There is a small rip in the driver's seat, but for fifty bucks, who cares! Everytime I do find a nice pair of seats, someone else always gets to them first, or they're REALLY expensive. For example, I found some very nice leather seats out of a mid 90s cobra, black leather and everything. The seller wanted over one-thousand dollars for them! 
I could get black vinyl upholstery for under $400 though. I've never "experienced" vinyl before, so maybe not. These covers aren't that much, and I guess I can always return them. Sorry for the long, boring post!

Well I'm not in a good mood, I burnt my hamburgers again, and there's these creepy looking guys in a purple chevy driving around by my house!
I ain't scared of the bow-ties. There's one sitting in my driveway for crying out loud. It's an annoying one though, always blocking me in!

I'm scared of my rc helicopter it says stand 10 -15 feet away starting etc me 5 feet and right into the arms ouch ! I'll need lessons to get like this fellow.

My friend had this one plane that he bought at walmart. He was flying it in a parking lot on a really windy day, until it kept crashing. He said the whole thing was busted from hitting the pavement, and completely worthless. Afterwards, he returned it for a full refund.
