Today was reasonably good, look what i bought




Ran about $1500. 305, auto.

oh and its not really "mine" its for the Car Club that a friend and i started at school. We founded it, did some fundraising and this is where we got with it, so far. I put down a deposit, need to get the rest of the $$$ on monday and pick up the car. Its a fun car to drive, and despite being Ford guys we both like it. More pics on monday!

 

Why Stay Stang Focused or R U selling the ( II ) ok well it's a car club thingy I guess you people will spoof it up & then sell and split accordingly ?

 

Well the II isnt going anywhere. The Camaro will be the Club car. We are going to fix it up and such, and make it into a streetable drag oriented car. The car won't be sold but instead left behind for next year's group of kids, and they will imrpove on it and so on...

It's gonna be fun

I can understand the first yikes, but whats wrong with the camaro

 

I like the 80's Camaros! I don't think I'd ever buy one though!

 

Technically I didn't have to buy it. Sure my buddy and I and our closest group of friends did the majority of the work to raise the money (we restored a horse trailer and then sold it), but it isn't like I get to own it 100% of the time.

Gets stored at the school and all. I'm going to have another 2 sets of keys made. One for me, one for the other founder of the club, and one for the club adminstrator/teacher.

The other founder, Peter (no, not cntchds) and I plan on using it for more than just the club though Can you say "car chase film"?

I knew you could. Man, having a Camaro at your disposal is a very nice thing to have

And after playing with this one for barely even a few minutes today, I think I may have to buy myself one as a DD someday

 

I am pretty sure you burn in hell for being in the vicinity of any camaro NOT in the 67-71 MY range.

Where's my set of keys? I'd be willing to do the chasing in the II... but then again, it's a Maro... Maybe the II could even be ahead in this race!
