Welcome Back Mustang Source!
PS: for what its worth. Several years back I was backing up with ZIP disks before CD/DVD became so prevelant. After a virus I had to reload all my software and when I went to reload my personal data from the ZIP's, they FAILED!! But I called iomega, they had me ship them, and their 'forensics' dept was able to recreate almost all of the data to new disks. Whew!!! Guess its true that when you get rid of your old computer you should destroy the hard drive because some data can be rebuilt from them.
That is the extent of my knowledge and you guys are way expert. But I thought I'd throw it out there in case the harddrive or server manufacturer had any tricks up their sleeves like iomega did?
Good luck and thanx again!!
PPSS: what anti virus software do you guys use? I'd like to know so I don't use it!
(For those not familiar, I learned the hard way after 3 virus crashes in late 90's/early 2k's to update the virus engine daily and scan nightly. No problems since.)

When I ran one of these boards before can't you upload individual SQL's into the database. Like the members one etc. It would restore all the members with post count and signatures etc...Also you could do it with the threads and post SQL aswell.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I had to do that before.
Unless those individual SQL files were damaged then it would be a no go.
Just throwing this out there dunno if it will help or not.

Im sure gald we have somthing back at least. I was not about to go looking for any other Mustang forums to read cause I know I would be very dissapointed with them. This is the best Mustang source on the web. I'm wondering why anyone would want to hack and mess us up?? Other than maybe a chevy/CAmaro loving, jeloius, bored comuter hacker???
I have both my compters behind my routers firewall, no virus problems there. And as many have said, surfing today you must, back up regularly, maintain up to date anti-vrus protection, and spyware, and perform regular PC maintenance, like registry cleaning, defragmentaion, etc. I do all that and keep my PC running almost as good as my Stang.
