We've been wanting to move it to forums.tms.com for along time just would be a major undertaking to do.. we went ahead with it in light of recent happenings.

 

If we could do that, we wouldnt be sitting almost a year back

 

My PC has been acting kinda weird since that day. May it be infected or something? My anti-virus softeare hasn't found anything

 

In no way shape or form should it have affected anything on your local machine.

Well if the data can't be recovered or corrected from the server hard drive, what about google? Can they be contacted to see if their archives have past threads?

 

We can't just "import" the information if they have it though. the SQL databases don't work like that =\

Is the hack facebook related? I keep reading how insecure facebook is and then shortly after the TMS page goes online, we get hacked....??

 

Welcome back, sucks you got hit but I guess it's a yet another sign of TMS's success that it becomes the target of this sort of BS.

 

It could be the extra attention that was generated by the advertisement on Facebook from Autoblog mag, but we can't be for sure.

 

Thanx. Was it related to this hidden Conficker worm that is dormant on so many systems that haven't patched lately? If so maybe authorities should be notified.
