Ok so I know this is probably the wrong section of the site to post, but I didn't know where to post so...

Anyhoo... is anyone else experiencing the very very bad results of the search function on the forums?

Basically if I input anything more than one word it comes back with an error saying something like "Broaden your search"

I did a search on the GT Tech forum for "tune battery" I would say that's pretty darn broad.

Can someone fix/address this?

There's no link to the search form from the forum. The search shortcut you see only goes back 30 days i think.

I have this shortcutted in explorer

The search is working fine. I did a forum wide search on "tune battery" and it hit your post above.

What you want to search for is "tune AND battery", what you were searching for was "tune battery", which it takes as a single phrase, not multiple keywords.

And of course this belongs in the help forum...

in the search form, change "search posts from..." to "any date" instead of "30 days ago" - that helps but i do find this search function isn't as good as some other boards. using AND or OR also helps.

The link to the SEARCH form is at the very top of the page. Not the best placement, I know.

never noticed SEARCH up there, matter of fact I never noticed any of those, maybe a little bigger font up there would make that more noticeable
