Distracting, I've seen pics that have no obvious connection to Mustangs, and it takes the page longer to load. I just like the normally streamlined view @ TMS w/out the extras in the way. (no sig pics, etc)
Ya, it's a lot slower.

Maybe if there were an option in the User CP to turn it off. That might be a better solution for all concerned

you CAN turn it off. I completely forgot about the feature, since I never use it, just hit the arrow on the right side and it will be hidden

I knew you could "minimize" the bar, but I was looking for a way to turn it off off. But like Arin, I don't notice any speed difference at work, on the cell card, or at home. (1.5Mb, 768kb, 10Mb respectively)
I just dont always scroll all the way down
