Unhappy Posting Pdf files?

Everytime I try to post a 2.08mb Pdf file to a post that I'm trying to create I get, "Upload of file failed" error. This site says that I can load up to 4.88mb.

However, if I break the file into smaller bits (under 1.0mb each) I am able to upload all three files.

That's a drag though. I wanted the information to be all in one file.

I have several pictures in the file but they are all WAY under the 500k limit.

Any ideas?

Thanks -- Jeff

If all you want to do is post the pics that are inside the pdf document...if you have Adobe Acrobat Pro you can export all the images from the document. Choose Advanced | Export All Images, and it will export all the images into separate .jpg files. If you use something other than Adobe Acrobate Pro, you may have a similar option.

or if you don't have that program a quick print screen paste it into and editor and crop the pictures out.

Yeah we are having a problem posting larger files (docs, pdfs, xcl..). We are still working on that. If you are wanting to post pics however, do like Chris said and screen shot and put into mspaint and save as jpg.. much smaller file and shows up alot better.

Yes, just tried it today. It is a 3.5MB pdf file and it goes through all the motions, but when it gets done uploading the file, it says "upload failed".

Still not working. This is a great PDF of Mustang Specs that include everything you ever wanted to know about the 2005 Mustang. I just have to share, and I can't!!!
