I think ti would be alot better if the 94-2004 v8 section was divided into sub-sections, 94-95, 96-98, 99-04. As it is now, I dont read the section strictly becuase of the fact that thread title dont always implicate what year model the car is, and I dont want to have to weed through a ton of threads just to find the ones that my pertain to my car.

As well as the fact that when you span enough time, the cars are nothing alike. In my opinioin 94gt tech info doesnt belong in the same category as info on a 03 mach, because they are totally different cars.

You might have less post in the individual forms, but in the end it might also lead to people actually coming here to both offer and seek more tech advice if they could more easily find the information they are looking for.

That's a valid and good point. I support your suggestion, and I'll bring it to the attention of the other Admins/Mods.

Thanks, Joker!

I agree that is a valid suggestion. There are so many differences between those years that it might help when it comes to technical content.

I would say start with 94-95, 96-98 & 99-04 to start. If there seems to be the traffic and need to get into Cobra or Mach subforums then we can address that later....right now just to seperate those year groupings I think would help.

So do you want to keep v6 seperate or just move all v6/v8 threads together?

I would keep the V6 seperate...that is a whole different world with a lot going on for the V6 guys...therefore potential for lots of V6 specific information. I would say for now keep the V6 seperate but lumped together(until a need for change arises) and seperate the others as above for the V8's.

ok let me ask this.

What about just making it SN95-V8 and putting 94-95, 96-98 and 99-04 specific subforums underneath? or do you think they need to be on the main page? I am just trying to keep the main page clutter free.

That's right along with what I was thinking.....keep the main page as SN95-V8 and use subforums once inside...keeps the main page clean but allows more choices once you click into that area.

That is exactly what I would do.
