Getting your pictures to load
Our photos were taken with a high end digital camera. They were way too big to upload and nothing I did with a photo program worked.
Yahoo! (and probably similar sites) has a section for members photos. I uploaded my photos into an albulm, and then right-clicked save as ___ each photo file into a new folder in My Pictures on my PC. When I attached the photos from the new folder no problem. No re-sizing, no re-formatting, no shrinking, no grief. Yahoo offers a program to upload whole albulms or one-at-a time. The one-at-a time is misleading. It is actually a list of ten files that you can attach and upload at the same time.

Good info. Something else I have found that works great. If you are on a windows xp computer, Microsoft has made a "power toy" that you can install and makes it really easy for resizing photo's. All you have to do is right click on the photo (or you can do a group at once) and hit resize image. And then it gives you options for the size. Normally the 640x480 is more than enough to post on a forum.
