I'm not getting any emails now from this site..

 

I am getting notifications of new posts in threads...

a day or two AFTER they hit.......

I am only subscribed to two threads right now, this one and "Word Assoc Game" (yeah I know, get a "TMS life" LOL).

I received an email notification for your post above 24 hrs later (7/22), and no notifications for any other posts here since then.

I received one instant email notification from the Word Assoc game thread (also 7/22), but no notifications for the 46 posts that have been made there since then.

 

I've received some notices 'on time' and others following later from the same thread that were of posts up to 5 days before!

 

So, is it safe to say that those who were having duplicate e-mail issues are not having those any more. The prevelant issue at hand is delays on notification e-mails. I made some changes to the system, but that slowed the board WAYYYY down, so for right now we're rethinking our approach to this issue because its a landmine if we get it wrong.

 

I made a major change in the way the forum handles outgoing mail so you might miss a couple of messages in the first 24 hours as the board "catches up". Let me know if you're having any major issues.

Not getting anymore duplicates What I am getting is 24-72 hours late. I would say there are some posts I have not gotten any email notification for but I'm not sure of that, they may come in a couple days...

E-mail updates for... PM, E-mails, Thread Subscriptions? I'm getting notifications for PM's and threads so I know the board is sending mail. I'd check your UserCP to make sure your subscriptions are set to send mail.

 

Not getting ANY emails now from TMS. Checked all the options and everything is checked that is supposed to be checked.

 

Just checked my email and have 6 different notifications So far So good Keep up the good work

But, I did get 4 email notifications yesterday and this morning from 3 different threads that were instant Good, except that I did not get any notifications at all for several other posts that were made in those threads.....

 

i only get an email when i have a private message waiting me .. i like it just fine that way
