Alright, I tweaked something you're not supposed to tweak.

To all those that are having "non-read posts" showing "read" issues report back to me in a couple of days and let me know if you are still having problems.

Also gone, so now 80% of the forum is has inadequate information.
Any update on attempts to relink attachments that existed before the migration? The following thread is pretty useless without pictures:

There's definitely something going on with the email notification.
I just got one that sent me 2 pages behind where the latest was. (make sense? )

Explain that to me again....

Are you saying that you got one email with 2 weeks of information? Is it possible to look at the properties of the email and see when they were actually sent (in case your ISP inadvertantly held the emails then delivered them).

Thread had 4 pages of posts. When I clicked on the link in the email, I was sent to a post on page 2. (didn't look to see exactly which one though)

However,
I just went back into the exact same email to check the date and tried the link again. This time it sent me to the newest post. So nevermind for now, I guess. I'll let you know if it happens again, and I'll get more details for you.
Thanks, Nathan.

BTW, I know I'm pointing out a lot of little things, but overall I think the new board is MUCH better... as I pointed out somewhere else on here. Just trying to help out.

Whatever you did fixed it, it now functions properly like the old forums. Now all you guys need to do is clean up the appearance, and make it look a bit different from the standard Vbulletin.

OK. Here we go. It's doing the email thing again. What do you need from me? (how about a screen cap? )

The funny thing is the first time I clicked on the link it sent me to page 11 of 14. Then I went back and tried it again just to see what it would do. Sent me to pg 12. Clicked it again... pg 13. Wierd.

I'm going to need some more information but:

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=39193&goto=newpost

The bolded bracketed section is something to take note of. No matter how many posts are in the thread the "newpost" command takes you to the first unread post as the forum sees it for your user. I suggest you read all the threads necessary, then click on "Mark all Posts as Read" on the main forum to create a marker.

I'll try that.
The funny thing is, it doesn't do it for ALL my notifications.

Also, what are the chances that all the pix posted in the various threads will be restored?

Glad you brought that up.
Has anyone seen the setup Stangnet uses? Looks pretty cool exept for the 6 picture limit. Other than that, I like it better than our old galleries.

EDIT: Looks like it only limits you to 6 pics per "garage". However I don't see a limit on the number of garages you can have.

So are there still issues with the forums going down? I'm liking the new forum but there still seems to be uptime issues. Seems like it was stable for a little while and back to old tricks now.

We haven't had any load or downtime issues since the swap that I'm aware of. What problems are you having?

Sendero.... I was having problems reaching the site, getting timeouts. Next time I'll do some more troubleshooting. If you haven't had any downtime then it must have been a network outage along the way to your servers. Thanks.
