I've recently became active in another forum that has a feature that I love. www.xlforum.net There's a main forum summary page that shows all topics at once. As is known, I hate the topics always being moved from place to place. I spend useless time clicking back and forth between different subforums to see what's new. This forum has a page that lists all the topics in one page, regardless of what subforum they're in, most recently active first. People can look at the topic title and if it interests them they're free to jump in. It'd be a great addition to the site. Users will get a lot of responses because there'll be a lot of views, and the site will still maintain it's organization, if in order to start a new topic, you have to go to a (the proper) subforum.

Don't know if it's possible w/ the TMS software, but it's a lot more enjoyable.

 

That sounds like (and looks like) the "View New Posts" feature at the top right corner of the page here on TMS. Lists ALL the new topics since ones last visit.

 

Similar, maybe even better. Cool! How long's that been there?

 

I think its always been a part of TMS, at least since I've been here. It's how I view the board 99% of the time I'm on.
