The Mustang, child of the Falcon, has had huge success while other nameplates died off killing their fame. But (as quoted from a M&F reader)"if you bleed Ford blue, the Mustang is a pretty daughter who gets a lot of ink." Can we have a section for the forgotten classics such as but not limited to the Cougar, Falcon, Fairlane, Galaxie, Torino, Cyclones, Comets, Capri's, Fairmonts, Grabber Mavericks and Pintos, Edsels , F-100's, and such?
Remember, while we have Mustang fans here, we also have Ford fans here who don't grimace at the Fairmonts and Pintos.

Thanks for keeping such a great site Brad and all the Mods and such, this is just a suggestion!
I've never found a big Galaxie forum, the one on Automotiveforums has about 20 topics, and they even mispelled the Forum name "galaxy". There isnt even a Fairlane forum there.

EDIT: The reason I joined this site was because i was a huge Mustang fan but since then I've found out about these "Other Fords". I'm still a huge Mustang fan, but there's more than Mustangs

I think thats a great idea, but I must disagree about one thing: Fairmont? A classic? Pintos are kinda borderline to me too. Man, theres a sweet 70 Torino sittin in town, looks pretty plain, just old white paint, for 1600, but when you pop the hood theres a 390 under there . I think I would actually rather have it than what I do already, but its too late to go back.

I dont know if they're a classic, i guess i meant those as hot rods or something, the fairmont chassis was the base for fox body mustangs.

Need i say more about awesome pintos?
Not a classic...but they were awesome if you knew what to do

Scothew has been talking with Brad about having a "Other Fords" section. I think there is a good chance we'll get it!
