Those threads and one forum still exsist. As part of the repair we did an "import" of the former database. The import re-numbers the threads and forum ID's so you'll get the error message when you use those links. If you remember what the threads were about then you'll be able to find them via the search engine.
Prior to the fixes and VB work when we were looking at a thread we could see which members were in the thread by looking at the very bottom of the thread. Is this something that will return?
It was a nice feature outside of looking at whos online function.
Thanks guys

Yeah guys, let me explain just a sec what all happens with VB's database import. You lay down a whole new forum, then import your existing database over into it. Well this renumbers everything, threads, user numbers, etc. Also every forum is reset as far as its sort order (imagine all of our forums and subforums on the first page you come to
) Also, all permissions, moderators, custom settings, and all were back to default (which usually is bland). Give us a bit of time, its hard to remember all hundreds of settings weve made over the years right off the top of our head.

Ok - so we need to dig to find the link to each (old) bookmark and re-save as the new link.
And as for thread subscriptions, we need to find the threads and re-subscribe? Right?
That's fine if I have to do all that - I just don't want to go to all the trouble and find out the all those things will be restored here soon...

Yes you will need to subscribe to all your previous threads, sadly theres not a way for us to restore that.
Speaking of subscribing. I subscribed to this thread, and every e-mail notification I have recieved, shows ALL the posts, not just the current/latest. FYI
Now for an issue: The weather is brutal right now in FL. NMRA is ongoing. What is a guy to do?????
