Long time lurker with some feedback. The ad link you have on top on many pages is causing the page load to take forever until the link times out and fails.

This is at least one that is not working right now.

This just started recently.

I am not sure what is happening, maybe its me. But today every page on this site has been loading slow. My other websites are loading fine, just this site is slow.

Edit: The advertising links are not even showing up on my screen. Just the "Advertise Here"

The site that hosts it is in Auburn, Alabama, and they are probably without power due to the hurricane. I'll remove the link for now.

Is it just me or is the site slow to load when the banner is up too?

Maybe it's just me...

That is one hosted out of Aurburn as well. I'm assuming they are having some difficulties due to Ivan.

Also alot of the slowness issues will be resolved if and when we can move to a dedicated server. This site is producing overwhelming amount of traffic and will defintely improve once its got its own machines to power it

That was my Guestimate - I noticed the UPRproducts.com AD was moved to the themustangsource.com server... Those pages load much quicker...

Don't mean to sound like I'm complain'n or nothing, just thought I'd point it out...

completely understandable, and it helps us out by knowing whats going on in case we dont see the same issues. (i.e. my partshopper ads were loading fine, but they were still cached on my computer here)
