I hope that Pony grill is limited to the Pony package. It looks way to fussy and glitzy to my eye, a triumph of flash over finesse. Pretty obviously a marketing-department driven tack-on as it is rather discordant with the otherwise clean and modern design of the S197, traversing the line from tastefully retro to overwraught repro.

But I guess for all the more is better peacocks mezmerized by flash and bling, they'll sell every one. To each, his/her own as they say.

The GT500 and the GT, on the otherhand, look great overall. Schoolbus yellow might not be my preference for the GT, sign me up for that Platinum silver, but boy, what a bod and a far better and more discerning resolution between modern retro and rehashed repro.
