Arrow Tire sizes for 19x9 front and 19x9 back

Hey guys, I have a 2011 mustang and I just ordered some new wheels. 19x9 in the front and 19x10 in the back. I was wondering if anybody has suggestions or knows how big I can go without rubbing against the fender wall? It's not lowered or anything just stock height. Right now im thinking of 235/50R19 on the front and 275/45R19 in the back

You're going too tall. You'll get some rubbing with those up front, I'm betting. The backs are probably ok on stock. If you ever lower, though, you're gonna have an interesting time. MIGHT be good, but do you want 'might'?

So with that, you really want 235/45 in front, 275/40 in back. But they'll both look stretched on those rims, they're barely wider than the rims widths. Not the best look, ya ask me. Also, the diameters don't match, the fronts will be about 1/2 inch lower overall, and will lower the front a tad. If you want that, there ya go.

For me, I'd go with 255/40 in front and 285/40 in back. They're same diameter, will fit the wheels better in width, and definitely work with stock or lowered heights no problem with those staggered rim widths.

For what those thoughts are worth. Good luck! And welcome to the forums!

So are your rear wheels 19x9 or 19x10? I'm going to assume 19x10 based on your tire sizes. Stock s197 tire diameter is 27", going like an inch taller isnt a huge deal, especially in the rear, and at stock ride height. Width has a LOT of leeway, if the wheels have proper offset for it. FYI I have 19x10 fronts and 19x11 rears with 285/35 F and 305/35 R. I'm lowered 1.5" F and 2" R. There is no rubbing/issues at all.

The biggest you should run on your fronts is 275/40, though 255/40 is a more proper size. The biggest you should run on your rears for width is 305/35, 285/40 for height, or 285/35 for the proper size

255 Front, 285 Rear. 255/40 and 285/35 are closest to OEM 27", and these are the sizes for Boss and Boss LS cars. Also, I'm assuming 19x9 & 19x10, but your thread title is misleading...

Ford put 255 40 19's on the stock 19 x 9 brembo wheels on all four corners. Most tire manufacturers do not recommend going wider than 275's on 9 inch wide rims. I am running a square 275 40 19 set up on my stock 19 x 9 inch wheels without any issues and I am lowered on Steeda Sport Springs. I don't know how big you can go on the back, but the front is always the issue with clearance.

When I bought my car that is exactly what it had on it, no issues either. I've gone lower and wider since.

Thank you everyone! Sorry about the title, it is 19x9 in the front and 19x10 in the back.. I want to go a little taller than OEM to fill the gap a little more
