Thought you guys might like to see these photos. I went to the local car wash and cleaned the car and put on a coat of NXT, then went and took some photos with my friend who owns a 66 Mustang with a 93 Cobra motor.

We also ran into some random guy in a yellow v6 and he got in on a few of our pics, I thought it would be cool.

They are located in this thread if anyone wants to see, theres a ton of pics so I didn't want to overload any 56k modems by posting em all in here.

Great pictures! Both are beautiful and well looked after!

I find it interesting how in many side-by-side comparison pictures the 05 Mustrang looks so much "bigger" and "bulkier" than the 66/67/68/69 models.

Shows that regardless of the styling cues, the 05 is definately it's own design.

Very nice.. I like the black color when looking at the back of it. I think when it comes to the rear quarter of the car, black looks the best when seeing it in person..

Man, you americans have funny names for your convenience stores.. LOL ( meant that in good faith )

Whoops, guess I wasn't paying much attention, he said it was a GT and I wasn't the one taking the photos so never saw the hiney of his car.

From the pics I used to think the 05 would look better with a scoop or something, but after seeing them in person ,no way, I like them the way they are. Look really sleek and classy, and as you mentioned look very much like the hood of old.

it's like looking at 3 beautiful girls, I don't know which I'd rather take home. They all look so good. Although I think I'd take the 05, if faced with the choice.

Jeff, your '05 is by far my favorite 'Stang in these photos. The others have their strong points. Man, but those mud flaps on that '66 are HUGE! Or do they double as curb feelers?

The most notable differesnce is the chrome all over the 66 and the fact as was mentioned the 05 is bulkier.

Nice pics!

The last gen stang looks kinda wimpy/tiny compared to the 05 in some of those shots.
