Supercharger puulleys
Hey guys,
Got a 94 supercharged cobra that's producing very little boost. We are talking like 1-3 psi max. Vortech said to swap out the pulley on the charger for a smaller one. Anyone else go this route? What size did you use? Any negative consequences on the motor/charger going this route? Thanks

It's not too old in terms of miles. Maybe only a few thousand on there. In terms of years maybe 7 years old. I've been restoring for a while now Actually I think I'm restoring what I've already restored it's been so **** long I just got around to hooking up the boost gauge now so I don't quite know what it was producing to begin with. I send in the gauge to be checked so I'll see what happens there and I'm gonna directly connect the gauge to the lower intake. Got a spare plug I can take out. Hopefully that helps but I still think I'm gonna be lacking sufficient boost. I'm not even quite sure where I could go here in CT to have it tuned or Dyno'd. Everyone I go see including the dealer mechanics say that stuff is over their pay grade if you know what I mean. Thanks for the help!
