Hey Joe!
Welcome to TMS.
Nice, my first car was a 2005 candy red v6 as well. Had a lot of great memories in that car. Hope u have the same experience.
As for mods I'd recommend a cold air intake and tune combo. Really opens these cars up. A tune will remove the limitations on the engine such as the speed limiter and faster throttle response. Its amazing what the after market tuners do to these cars. Take a look at steeda, they are one of the most reliable tuners.
Good luck man enjoy your car.

Welcome! I'm from Texas as well and also have an '05 V6. By "Candy Red", do you mean Redfire? What kinda mods are you lookin' to do? Performance, appearance, or both? Performance wise, I'd say the best place to start is with a tune. Then maybe intake, exhaust, gears/differential, suspension, etc. Appearance wise...well that just depends what kinda look you're into. I've got a GT front facia and a CDC Billet Grill on mine, and I think it made it look 1000X better.
