OK well i have read the board for a long time... been active in the art sections for a couple weeks now.. But i thought i would introduce myself.
My name is Chris...and i have an addiction....
Mustangs, but i currently don't own one but have had 3 in the past.
So Here was my first car that i worked at Mcdonalds since i was 14 to own... bought it when i was 16.
1965 notch ... 200 cid inline 6 C4 auto. My dad and i partly restored, he does auto painting for a living. pictures are after the redone paint, before i got the emblems and rocker attached.
Next one i bought 2 years later.
1990 GT... had tons of mods that were done by the owner before me.
he claimed he ran a 11.4 in the 1/4 with it with a 150 shot, but i never tested that.
Then that one started breaking down ever other week so i got feed up with it... so about 3 months after buying the 1990 i sold my 1965 and the 1990 and bought.
1999 GT... 5-speed
And about 2 years later i found that i couldn't afford school and the 1999...so i sold it and have been Mustangless ever since.. I'm 22 now.
Thats my story and i'm sticking to it.

One more thing, I went to the Mustang Launch Celebration in Sept 04.
I'm the Second from the left in the picture. My brother is part of the Bullitt club and went along with him... hes the one to the right of me with the white shirt witht the Bullitt on it also standing next to Scott Hoag.

I sympathize with a period of no Mustangs.
I went four years without a pony in the stable. Now that I have one again, I don't know how I tolerated it.
They are just so much fun!
Loved that '65 you had. Bet you wish you still had that one. Maybe she was a 6cylinder plain jane, but still a beautiful antique. 60's fords with the straight six were pretty bulletproof cars mechanically. I had a '68 Falcon before my first Mustang with the 200 CID 6. That was a good little car.

Welcome Chris.
Nice cars and now this explains all of your great designs...
...digital cars are a lot cheaper than the real ones.
(That's why I draw so many vector toons, too.)

Great cars love the color on that 65. Sorry to hear about your loss, I will not comment on your current car as it will not make you feel any better and to be honest the only person who can make fun of your car is you with out it being an insult. Still I feel your pain my previous cars were a 92 Mercury Grand Marquee and a 2003 Toyota Tacoma(my current beater if you can call it that) I never want to not have a stang to drive it's a total blast as you already know.

Chris, even though I have a Saleen, I still
have a big case of "why did I ever sell that one" for
my old resto-mod 66 coupe.
(And my wfie had a Grand Prix GT buy buying the Audi A4.)
Here it is .....
(Top picture is before I added TT's and rollbar.)
