Proper Introductions
Hello everyone!I've been in the shadows for quite a while.I found this site while searching for the 2005 Mustang.I got to thinking, why do I love this car so much?I've allways loved Mustangs,as I spent most of high school rideing and fixing my best friends 64 1/2 coupe. The "retro" look is what brought about an instant flood of memorys and emotion! So I thought why not just go right to the source!I purchased, as a direct result of this awsome site ,a 1970 Mach 1.I plan on restoring it to all it's glorry, hopefuly with all your guys help and experiance!I've allway's done all my own mechanical work.I've built a chev. 350  and it's a strong and reliable motor. However this will be by far my most challenging project.I just want to make sure to do it right,to honor this American legend!
I enjoy this site tramendously, and this by far is the best Mustang site on the web period!I havent posted much because quite frankly I don't know much, but I hope to change that!Anyway I thought it was high time to make a "proper introduction".My name is Justin BTW and I'm located in Las Vegas NV.
I think I was able to include a picture of my new Pony, not sure though?

Welcome to the site, and that is one beautiful car! I myself am half looking for a 69/70 Mustang. Also, love that blue! When you restore it, do you plan on keeping the same blue?
Thanks all! Here is another Pic.I have a question regarding the VIN#.I've done some research on it through the time-line.Acording to the VIN# it was born at the Metuchen plant?I was only aware of the Dearborn factory. the VIN is 0T05H......Any info on the different factorys and my vin would be greatly appriciated.
Here is another PIC.The motor # matches the car.It is a Cleveland, but the original 2V heads were replaced with 4V heads B) .The 2bbl carb was also replaced with a holley 750 double pumper. It has a Comp hydraulic 305H cam,an Edelbrock Torker intake, the pistons are domed and .030 over forged. The motor is pretty Hot!The original FMX tranny was replaced with a 4-speed top loader and the rearend went from the original 3:25 to a 4:57.The gentleman I bought it from is includeing new 3:73's which I will be installing straight away!Just curious whats the diffrences between the Cleveland and the Winsor? Also it has front and rear sway bars that appear factory and a stiffiner bar under the hood, wondering if they were perhapes a factory sport/handleing package?Thank you for any info!!
