I have got to say that the Pony Package looks so much better in person. Not that I didn't like it, but you have to see it to really get it (read: Tungsten). Everyone at the dealership was drooling over it

Now if I can only find the darn digital camera cable!

Everyoe was drooling over ours too! Apparently, people didn't know that the pony pkg was available and they had 2-3 orders just with ours sitting on the floor for the few hours that it was ready! I thought that was pretty cool! -Marci

What a nice car!!!!
It looks so familiar Have you been able to wipe the grin off of your face yet? When we just started the paperwork on ours, a lady was looking at Belle and I told the salesman she can look but no touch - that's mine now! They were trying to sell her a Tungsten that was a little more loaded than mine (had leather) but she wanted "that beautiful blue color." Is there a Vista Blue registry yet? I've seen the Sonic Blue and various other colors threads on here...

I agree that the Pony package on your car looks very sharp. Are the bullitts on the V6 17 inch? :banana2: :banana2:

Thought you might like her!! And I'm smilin' even now!! I keep waking up in the middle of the night (check my post time here!) thinking about how lucky we are to have such a beautiful car!! Plus, tonight, had a dog that kept scritching her ear and that actually woke me up. Glad to see someone else names their cars. My previous Stang's name was Belle Star (couldnt decide if I liked Belle or Star so it became both!) She was a blue '89 mustang that we just sold like 2 months ago. I miss her, but I know she's got a good home. Our new stang's name is Comet. My husband is really into comic books and apparently Super Girl had a horse named comet. So, we named her Comet the super pony! As for a reg. for our color, I haven't seen one yet other than the posting awhile ago that said "who ordered vista"? By the way... did you get the scotchguarding and wax package they offered at the dealership? I can't believe a wax job that is supposed to last 6 years! We have a week to decide if we get it or not.

Thanks for the nana's everyone! And yes, those are 17" Bullits on our pony! The pony package comes standard with them! I'll post some more pics later on today so that you guys can see more. I worked yesterday and then when I got home, we of course had to go cruising!

I know you're not asking me, but I turned down that simonize package with its 6 year claims. I plan on taking off the factory wax and using zaino to treat the car..plus you can buy a can of scotch guard and keep your inside protected for like 10 bucks and forgo paying the outrageous dealer markups on that offer. Its up to you though! I ended up turning down everything but the 5 year tire replacement policy. Its was only $300 and since these tires and rims are expensive, very much worth it.

I'm glad you are enjoying your car! It makes me feel weird driving down the road with so many eyes on me

I know it's expensive, but the 6 year claim has my husband dreaming of not waxing for 6 years. I personally would rather get the can of scotchguard and wax her myself... but the lure of 6 years of no waxing does have it's temptations. I asked Ed on the "ask a ford salesman" section about this and he mentioned checking with an aftermarket place about something similar that wouldn't have as much mark up. I guess we will think about it. I'd prefer not to spend the $399 on it. But I guess I want to do what's best for our new car and since we aren't car mechanics or have alot of knowledge about cars ourselves, it's hard to know sometimes if these things are necessary.

And yes it is weird! I had to work yesterday and as I was going to work and at a light, two guys in a truck were turning onto a road that I was waiting to turn onto and I saw them look at the car and then me and they made Kissy faces at me. I just about died laughing after they passed me. Not sure if they were kissy at me or at the car. I told my husband and he got a good giggle out of it too. (little bit annoyed though which was cute.)

Agreed. I'd have a fit if I came out of a store to see a shopping cart had rammed my new car, or some schmoe had hit it with a door! Good thinking. Bill

Wow that color does look good. Love how the stripe accents the car.
