Old guy
Old guy
Hi,I have gone back to my youth of the late 60"s when I owned a 1967 Shelby Gt 350 also a 69 Mach 1.Now in 2010 with our kid"s grown up and 5 grandchildren, I bought a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 the thrill is back but had to buy an automatic in this one,as the legs don"t work as good as they once did but I really enjoy this car,now if I could only be 18 again.
To The Old Guy From Probably An Older Guy: Felt exactly the same way when I got my 05 after waiting over 40 years for another Stang..I had forgotten how much fun it was just to get out and drive. When I had my first Stang it was down in the Tampa Bay area. Good Luck with your 2011.
from one old guy to another,im turning 70 this month a would not give up my 07 5 speed gt for anyother car at this price range. I have been a car lover since the middle 50's if only i kept the cars i had over the years. Im visiting ny going back to florida before it gets to cold,
Indeed, the youthful thrill is what has kept me in a Mustang (23 of them) since my first '66 purchased in '69. I'm closing in on 60, but that hasn't stopped me from building in an estimated 550 RWHP for a "daily driver". (I put that in quotes because I travel a lot and don't get to drive it daily!)
Welcome, and 'Enjoy the Ride' my friend!
