NEXTIME

I am a car guy and love performance. Some of the cars I had..... 69 Chevelle, 69 and 70 Skylark, 81 DeLorean DMC-12, 76 and 77 Grand Prix, 78 Mustang II 302, 92 Mustang GT supercharged, 2001 Corvette ( P.O.S. owned it from 14k to 24k and it burned 1 qt of oil per 1000 miles), plus a bunch of non sports or muscle cars.

I actually traded in the 2001 Corvette to buy a new 2011 Edge, yes it was a big upgrade to reliability but not performance.

The Edge had just under 16k and that is what I traded-in for a Cobra.

So here is what I bought......

I bought a 2003 Mustang Cobra Convertible in Sonic Blue with 3300 ( yes 3300) miles on it for $24,000. They paid me to buy this car.

Anyway here are a few pictures and a video. In the video see how the camera shakes from the exhaust note. Also in one picture there is some NASCAR signature but I don't know who it is?

The only thing I see that is aftermarket is the Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.

Beautiful car. Definitely the best color. Really makes me regret black.

I believe it is the stock Convertible spoiler. Everything was stock on the car except the oil and filter, tires and cat back exhaust.

I really wasn't planning on buying this car but when they confirmed the mileage ( I thought it was wrong in the ad ) and agreed on a price for the Edge and Cobra I would have kicked myself in the head for years if I passed this deal up.

Yup. Stock cobra spoiler. (the only acceptable new edge spoiler). I bought mine in Wisconsin.

Funny how the exhaust blows the cam. The exhaust note almost sounds Borla-ish to me.

Nice score! What number is it?

Where you you get the number from?

I know I had Borla on my 1992 and It sounds very close to it. Mild when you want it and wild when you need it. LOL

Possibly - but neither the Bullitt or Boss production numbers have any relation to the VIN.

Yeah I see the Cobras had different spoilers now. In the picture you can see the non-Cobra spoiler. The Cobra's look more integrated to the car and the non-Cobras look like an aftermarket universal spoiler.
