New TMS Member from PA
Hi all,
My name is Ken. I live in eastern PA and have been here all my life. I am a member of the Bad Mustangs Club (BMC). I've used this site in the past and thought I should finally join. I started my addiction after my dad got his first Mustang. In 2003 he bought an 03 Mustang Cobra. I started to research the car and modifications others were doing. So really, his car became my obsession till I bought my own in May of 2006. I have a black 06 Mustang GT couple. That day was one of the best days of my life. Since then, I've been taking it to car shows and the drag strip.
Best stock ET 13.65 at 102mph
Best modified ET 13.2 at 106.5mph on stock tires
Mods that produced the 13.2 ET are the following:
-Motoblue LCAs
-BMR UCA
-Airaid CAI
-Bamachips Race tune
-SLP Loudmouth Axle back Exhaust
Mods added after the 13.2 ET run:
-Steeda UDPs
-Hurst Short Throw Shifter
I'm hoping to knock off a tenth from those two mods.
Planned mods for this year will be:
-American Racing LT Headers with catted H pipe
-Ford Racing 4.30 gears
I'm looking to run the car into the deep 11s with mostly bolt-ons and NO power adders.

Hi Ken,
Looks like you're on the right track. I ran a 13.19 with mine before the UDPs on 18" KDWS tires. So looks like your car is right in there. If you are going to get into the 11s that will be a hefty goal. I've seen some 12.3 cars NA, but haven't seen much in the upper 11s. The important thing is having a tuner with a dyno that can support your growth.
It will be interesting to see how the 4.30s treat you. I have always been a third gear out the back door type, but that limits you to 3.73s at best running 12.80s with modified redline. I know 4.10s leave guys hangin in 4th and not quite in the power at the line.
Welcome aboard and it will be fun to watch your times go down as you bolt on new things.
