New from the Pacific Northwest
Hey All,
My name is Vlad, im 25 and I live in the pacific northwest just under 30 minutes from Seattle, WA. I recently purchased a 2010 Mustang GT Premium with the Shaker Package. This is not my first FORD, but it is my first Mustang. I have a 2013 F150 Ecoboost along with my wifes 2013 audi Q5. I bought my mustang convincing my wife that our soon to be born child has safety hooks for his carseat in the mustang
next thing you know i was writing a check!!
So i really like the look of the mustang as it was, but i wanted it to be more aggressive. So i did a little research and there has been many people doing the Gt500 conversion on thier ride. Now you may say why not just buy a gt500 and get it over with... well truth is the GT was purchased because it was either i spend 20 grand on a Car, or 20 grand on a FactoryFive Kit car (which would end up being 50k in the end)... so i went with this GT. with only 17k miles , 20 grand was a bargain.
I will post a new topic in the appropriate section with pictures of my before and after conversion. I unfortunately did not take alot of video or pictures which really sucks because i would have loved to document it all for you. Fortunately someone already went ahead and did that for you. I will try to find the PDF and see if i cannot post about it. But i will feature a full parts list along with the prices i paid (total conversion cost 3000 after tax with the proper gt500 hood.) I eventually plan to do a SC on it but that will be after my son is born.
I hope to get to know people in here as i am a somewhat new enthusiast... but it was not until i sat in the GT and hit the gas pedal... lets just say when i pulled up to a stop light after i left the dealership on the test drive my hands started to sweat! the excitement and thrill of the engine roaring!! oh its so great. anyways hope to make some new friends here.
