New to Mustangs and to this forum
As suggested thought I would just introduce myself. Yes I am an old guy. Retired almost 2 years ago. When I retired I bought a very nice 2001 corvette. enjoyed it for eighteen months but it became too much to maintain. There is an old saying; "do you own your car or does it own you?"
Don't regret owning it was just time to move on.
I realized I wanted a fun car that had a stick shift and decent gas mileage. Also wanted a car I could hear my music in. (Vette was very loud) People ask me to compare my V6 Mustang with the vette. Apples and Oranges for the most part. The Vette obviously had a lot more power (torque) and also handled exceptionally well. Started getting very expensive to maintain.
My mustang is peppy and is fun to drive. I find it very comfortable. And for me, it is nice to have a warranty. I should mention that there are three other FORDs in my family. I have also been very satisfied with the dealer that I use.
Time will tell just how well the Mustang holds up. I do not race my cars and I do take good care of them. Anyway thats my story and I'm stickin
to it !!!
