New Mustang Owner
I've just officially joined the ranks of Ford drivers, with my 2007 Mustang V6! All my cars have been GM's, the last one a 2001 Camaro. I was looking for something new, and as you know GM has nothing that replaces the Camaro and almost no coupes at all anymore. In fact there are very few coupes from any manufacturer these days. I love the Mustang's retro style and the V6 is very powerful. I was seriously considering a Honda Accord since I could get both at nearly the same price. It was a very tough decision. I like the sports car ride, but the practical efficiency and clean style of the Accord coupe was nice too. I made the decision after test driving the 'stang again.
My car is an '07 with Pony pkg, auto trans, IUP, and ABS. its redfire/lt. grey - i absolutely love the deep red color, and the wheels are probably the best looking stock rims on any car. At some point I'll have pictures.
It had 30 miles on it, now 260. Nice quality fit/finish, except for a gap between the headliner & window molding on the left side. I think I hear that chuckle from the front end, but there's a new TSB for that. The engine has so much power that i can squeal the tires a bit with not much pressure on the gas - that might not be so good in the winter here in Wisconsin. I did ok in the Camaro though. But that **** salt is going to dirty up the hot redfire paint!
I'm not real big on mods, my cars stay stock and i'm going to use Motorcraft parts. There might be a couple of light appearance things though.
How do I know if my car has a engine block heater? Does that come in the performance package with the ABS? The owners manual has a small paragraph on the block heater but no diagram where to find it. I don't see it.

Hmmmmm......white faced gauges look nice. I saw them on the Roush model on the showroom floor. Can I get just an overlay, or do I have to get the whole cluster? Does anyone else have it - pics maybe?

I wanted to get some more pics of the outside but they just didn't come out good enough to post...I wish i had access to a lift for those chassis pics - I had to lay on my stomach to get those!
