Well I'm on a few other forums but really like what I see here so I've decided to join up. I'm also looking forward to purchasing the GT500 and selling my 1968 Firebird 400 Convertible (currently for sale, PM me if your interested). Here are two pics, one of each of my girls.

Kimo, that is one gorgeous Firebird you have! A fine example of a legend
You must be smitten with the new GT500 to sell your baby for it. I'm sure it won't disappoint Keep us updated on the details.

I am very smitten by the new GT500 :worship: . I only purchased this Firebird back in February so I'm not that attached to it yet. Of course right after I purchased it and paid for all this expensive shipping plus state sales tax, the GT500 gets announced. Don't get me wrong, I love my Firebird, but to have the opportunity of being the original owner of a Shelby Cobra GT500, come on, that's my dream come true.

Oh, I forgot to tell you the new rule. First person on the site with a GT500 has to give free rides

Let me ask everyone on this site a question. What's the overall feel or attitude on this forum?
It seems like every forum I'm on has a different group of people, some of which I'm totally sick of, others I really enjoy talking (posting) with. I find it interesting how you can tell after a while if a forum has a bunch of wanna-be-know-it-all-kids-insulting-eachother or the opposite end of the spectrum with good-ole-boys-from-the-60's-that-really-do-know-their-stuff (on another site I would have wrote poo just to try and look as cool as the next guy).
From what I’ve gathered, everyone here seems really nice and knowledgeable and is interested in actually discussing topics or issues like mature adults. Am I right?

Kimo, I have been a member of a few other Mustang sites and this is by far the best. Everybody here is willing to participate in a good conversation while at the same time being respectful towards others.
Brad and the gang do a great job monitering the site and constantly updating it and keeping it clean. They are always willing to answer questions and help out where needed (God knows I must drive them nuts ).
There is also a great language filter that keeps a check on any vulgarity so it is very family friendly and addicting, maybe a little too addicting!
See you around Kimo!

j/k
Nah its a great site, we like to have fun, relax and we defintely promote a positive family environment where everything can be handled as an adult. Its acctually good, because the members of the site wont put up or encourage trolls and people who try to act up and usually run em off before we the staff have to intervene(sp?).
Welcome to the site Kimo, that firebird is awesome!
