Hey guys just signing up to get the feel for Mustangs again. The wife and I are waiting for the 50th anniversary ordering banks to open up. When we met I had a 1999 GT in Electric green, Eibach lowered with 18" Budnik Gassers. We loved that car so much. Got rid of it due to change in hobby's. We were into ATV's and camping so we needed a truck. Did the truck thing up til now. We have a 2011 EcoBoost F-150 and 09 Edge Limited. We are keeping the truck for camping and Home Depot runs, etc. along with the Edge, but we decided to put a pony in the garage again .
I also had a 1991 Mustang LX with 351 Windsor, Dart heads, Jesel valve train, Victor Jr Intake, Holley 750 carb, Comp Cam, JE Pistons,full cage, fuel cell, etc. before we met. It was a nasty little street car (ran 11.30's). Then California cracked down on smog checks and my local "hook-up" closed shop or got arrested, I never dug any deeper. The car was bought by some dude and shipped to UAE. Hope they had as much fun in that car as i did. That sell was so easy because the car was leaving the country and no worry about smogging it. Also helped that a 21 year old at that time (1998) quit street racing. Our spot was getting burned by the Import racer crowd and it was getting dangerous.

So, that leaves me here today. We will be purchasing a 5.0 with Automatic because she desperately wants to drive it also. She can't drive manual so I'm ok with the auto trans. Evolution Performance has done some great things with them so I'm game. I'm here to learn what you folks have done with the auto tranny's and current wheels and suspension set-ups. it's been 14 years since I've been out of the game.... I can't wait to get back in the game head first!!! I want to make a nasty little street car again
