Hi guys and gals!
I hail from Ontario Canada and I own a 2011 Shelby GT500 Convertible. She's race red with the white performance stripes. I have had her in my possession since August of 2010 in which i found her sitting on the lot at a local dealer where she'd been sitting since the end of July. I took her out for a test drive at 8 am in the morning and picked her up the very same day at 3 pm. She was put away for winter in the middle of October last year but she did come out of storage in February to undergo a slight modification. She was loaded up onto a trailer and was bound for Sean Hyland Motorsports where she received a blower upgrade. She's now sporting a Kenne Bell 2.8 L ( 800 hp ) supercharger. This past summer I did a few more modifications. I got rid of the black wheels and changed them out to the chrome Shelby wheels with Perrilli tires. Changed all the black plastic to carbon fiber around the bottom of the car. Chin spoiler, rocker panels, rear valance/diffuser and hood vent are all carbon fiber now. I have a custom airbrushed radiator cover from Bangastang which looks absolutely amazing. When I went with the supercharger upgrade I also had to lower my engine a 1/2 inch to accommodate the blower and those I purchased from Steeda. I have a few minor purchases that are coming in as of yet which are a Bangastang colour matching shifter ball and also I am having a machinist make me tower strut caps out of billet aluminum with the Cobra Snake & GT500 engraving on it. Also this machinist is making me a billet aluminum fuse box cover with the Cobra Snake engraving on it as well. I have been given the production numbers for 2011 and have since found out that only 33 of these cars came up to Canada so it's fairly rare up here. I have yet to bump into my twin.
