Just joined the forum. Just purchased a 2011 V6 Premium with Pony and Comfort packages, Automatic with factory 3.31 gears and over the top stripe kit. I've never owned anything but Ford/Lincoln/Mercury products. Still own my first car a '69 Cougar Eliminator which I purchased in 1977. I won the NHRA Division 5 ET finals with the Cougar in 1990 along with a "Wally". Look forward to participating in the forums.
I know it's not a Mustang but thought you might want to see it anyway.

I was wondering if your name was in reference to the Cougar Eliminator. I saw one of those go on sale in the same color on Mecum rerun this afternoon. Beautiful car.

Great minds watch TV at the same time. I saw that too....a Boss 302 no less. It went for under 30K, didn't it?

Thanks, I've owned several cars over the last 35+years but never have felt the same way about a car as I do the Eliminator. My dad bought it in 1970 and sold it to me in 1977 when I got old enough to drive. Cars like it were considered gas hogs during that time and were sold for very little. Gas was 89 cents a gallon when I started to drive it. People were outraged at the gas prices.
