Hi y'all! My name is David and I'm 21 years old. I live in Lousiana and was recently donated a 1978 Mustang II Hatchback. My story is I work in insurance and one of my customers was wanting to cancel their classic auto policy. I saw it was a 78 Mustang and asked what he was going to do with it, and he said that he was going to scrap it. I said wait! Don't scrap it, atleast let me look at it and allow me to buy it! I took a look at it and drove it to my house. It runs great, but the Louisiana humidity got to it, so there is a ton of rust. He agreed to sell it to me for $200, when we went to the notary, the man actually donated it to me and told me just to pay the notary fee! So now I'm a proud owner of a '78 Mustang II Hatchback. I plan to upload some pictures later tonight. My biggest problems are: the rust, tranny leak, and power steering leak. The power steering I'm sure is just a hose replacement, but I'm not to sure about the tranny. Imma have a mechanic look at that. I gotta say, parts for the Mustang II are rediculous to find!

Lake Charles, but my wife's family is from the houma area. Well Lockport, golden meadow area. I've actually had friends that weren't from here ask if the roads really went down that far south!
