I'm from Fort Worth, Tx and I drive a 2011 GT/CS white/black auto which I absolutely love. I bought it new last summer for a steal at Sam Pack's Ford in North Richland Hills. I got it for $7600 below sticker! Unlike a lot of you guys, I am not a die-hard Ford guy (hey, don't be hatin') as I have owned a 1975 Camaro, 1988 GT Mustang, a 1988 Firebird, 1996 Mustang GT, and a 1999 Formula Firebird. You have to admit that between 93' and 2002 the Z/28 and T/A dominated the Mustangs. Given that, I have always chosen the one that I preferred by performance 1st and then style.
As for my current ride--prior to purchasing it--I considered the Camaro, Challenger and 370Z and once the new 5.0 came out it was no contest! It's a rare occasion that I go out and don't get a "thumbs up" or "hey man, nice car!"
Had I chosen strictly on looks alone, I would have gone with the Z. That car looks amazing from every angle, but there were too many things that I liked better about the Mustang.
I haven't done any performance mods yet but I did get the 3M chip guard installed on the front bumper, 18 inches on the hood, and mirrors. I think it's a worthwile investment as all my previous cars after driving a couple years in texas with all the big rigs looked like the front had been sandblasted with pebbles.
My only issues so far up to 14k miles is a sometimes sticking ignition switch which I have to manually turn back and keep trying and a buzzing rattling rearview mirror that on some road surfaces sounds like the interior is coming apart. If you grasp the mirror you can feel the plastic frame rattling and so long has you hang on to it, the noise stops completely. I know these can both be fixed under warranty, so I just have to find time to take it in.

Welcome Steve. Another Ft. Worth Mustang owner here. Quite a few of us on here. I live right up 820 from the NRH Five Star and spent a lot of time "researching" Mustangs there before I bought mine last week.
