I read about this site on another, where it was recommended for keeping up with orders for the 2013 Shelbys. I ordered with a local dealer and hope to be able to keep up with it, when it takes life.

Thanks, for the welcome. I am located about 30 miles north of B'ham off I-65. The closest towns are Kimberly and Warrior. I tried working with all the local, close, dealers, but Long Lewis was the only one that would get close on a new '13 Shelby. I put money down on one at Malloy for about 3K below sticker and later found out their allocation was used up. John Crump traded in one of his 57 T-Birds on their ONE Shelby. I ended up with the best price at Long Lewis in Florence. I think the diff in the two dealers was their tax rate, but it was worth the drive. I will try and update my profile later. My fastest toy now is a 99 Cobra with a Kenne Bell SC. My wife and I also enjoy a T Bucket and a 66 2+2 Mustang with a 351. I got invited to a Car Show at Home Depot, Sept 6th 9am to 1 pm, but may have other obligations. Might be a good chance to meet some of the locals.

 

A good friend lives up in Morris and drives a gold '00 GT, you've prob seen him around. Cant wait to see the 13
