New guy
Thanks everyone
I am sorry my intro was so short last night but I had a business call that I had to deal with.
Now.. let me try again.
I am an old guy some may say but I am not to old. I am married for going on 40 years in Feb. 2012.
This year we decided to make a few changes and sold our boat and bike.
The car is the replacment!
It is as I said a 2009 GTCS Conv. Vista blue with only 13K on the clock.
When my wife and I got married back in 1972 I was driving a.... you guest it, a Mustang Conv. That car was a 65 with a 289. I got the car in 1970. It was my first car and I worked at a Ford Dealership all summer to pay for it. I had been driving a 56 F100 till I got the car.
Now here is the good part. I paid $735.00 for the Mustang, but it needed work and I did it all myself. Mostly body work and then I had it painted.
It was nice!
It had 136K on it and ran great when I sold it in 1975 for $295. bucks.
It needed floors and a power steering pump.
The guy that I sold it to drove it to NY city that same weekend.
By the way that Ford Dealer I worked at was a relative of dad and loved fast cars, (Ex fighter pilot) and had some rare stangs. Like a 1970 428 CJ Conv. R code drag pack. And a 1971 429 SCJ Conv. with all the HD stuff.
The 70 is gone, but the 71 is out there some place.
Sorry again.. to long this time.
Paul
