Hi! I tried to go green and drove a CRZ for the last year and a half for my daily driver and it didn't cut it. Just traded it in on a base GT with auto trans today. Its the first automatic car I have ever owned. I have to learn to live without a clutch now, but it will be nice in Atlanta traffic.

I have a dedicated track car, a 2009 370z, and all the 370 guys have been getting mustangs, so I climbed aboard that train. I did have a 99 though.

I'm into the older Z cars though. Working on a 1975 280Z LS1/T56 swap.

I've had 5 S30s, 1 Z32, 1 Z33 and the Z34.

Ordered the isimple gateway last night so I can integrate my current lifetime subscription sirius tuner and thinking about eibach prokit springs and shocks.

its an hour drive, sometimes in horrible atlanta rush hour traffic and thought I would give it a try. Its just a two year lease, so if it doesn't work, I'll go back to stick next time.

I came from a Zed, too, albeit a '91 300zx Twin Turbo (hence the login name). That was an auto, and not a very good one.....4 speed plus overdrive. Modern autos are sooooooooooooooo much better though. My DD is a BMW 330i with Steptronic auto and it's superb. My Mustang may be a 5-speed stick, but if I could get a '13 to sit alongside, it'd be an auto.

Also forgot, I'll probably be powdercoating the calipers at some time, a deep dark candy red, because one of my two full time jobs is a custom powdercoater. I specialize in brake calipers, mostly for Corvettes and Camaros, but I do all of them. Other job is airline pilot at Delta, but I think I work more on the powdercoating.

 

Ha! I guess Z cars are like potato chips. This is my second S30 and I owned 3 Z31s before that.

Congrats again on the Mustang. The 2013 tail lights look great with the black paint.
