I joined recently but knew about this sire for awhile. My name is Sabine. I own a 04 black V6 manual. I had it for over a year now. This is my second car. I had an 89 red 4 cylinder mustang. It was an auto though. I've loved Mustangs ever since I got my red Barbie convertible 10 or so years ago. I especially love the classics and one day hope to own one. I had my first and hopefully last wreck back in March. As I was turning onto the road, I started fishtailing due to barely rained on and oily roads, and I tried to correct myself which didn't work. I broke my back axle on the drivers side and popped the tire off the wheel on the front driver side. I didn't get hurt or anything just shaken up.

Welcome!

What car did you have your wreck in?

I can relate. My first Mustang was twitchy at the limit or on wet roads. She would swap ends without so much as a "how do you do"!

Welcome to our site, we hope you love it as much as we do. It is great to have other females who love the stang as much as we do. I have love this car since I was sixteen. My first love owned one, a 65 Black Cope. Though we had broken up, I have never stopped loving these cars. I always wanted a 65, about 5 years ago my husband changed jobs and saw this 65 Vert. He knew it had to be mine. He had the money now so he bought it for me. I love her!!!! The first time we took her out with the top down, it was a beutiful day and the first song we heard on her radio was,"Calfornia Dreamen". Perfect! Now we bought my husband 05 Gt Vert. He love this car. I love this car and my son loves this car. I hope you can share your love with us. The door is always open.

Welcome!! I did the same thing. I lurked around the site for quite awhile before I started posting. I think I thought that you had to pay to join the forums or something. Then one day, I just tried it and it worked! My first car was an 89 mustang too!! I had a blue one though. We just sold her about 2-3 months ago. I miss her, but my new baby (2006 stang) more than makes up for our loss. Anyway, welcome to the site! You are in good company! -Marci

@ Paris MkVI
It was my current one. Ever since that wreck I take it as lsow as can be when in the rain especially on hills. There is the one hill that I take whe I go to college. My tires started spinning in both first and second and all I could do was remember when I had my wreck. I definitely don't go that way when it rains anymore.

@ ALLMINE65
I would love to have a classic so bad. I hope to have a husband as nice and cool as yours is one day. My dad said that he was going to buy me a classic when I graduate college. Hopefully that will happen.

@ StangGrl
I thought the exact same thing. I thought you had to pay also. I had just received a $50 gift card from Ford, and I was going to join and found out that I didn't have to pay and felt kind of stupid.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
