New to Forum from South of France
I think I was in love with nice classic cars since a very long time but always thought I could never afford one...
But time changes and I started looking for a 67 FB years ago
It was still only a dream BUT you know the song ... "dream till your dream comes true"
And in August 2016 I went to Detroit for Business and spent the WE at the Woodward Dream Cruise and I got gobsmacked!!!
You will never see such event in France
67 FB were already expensive or at least not affordable yet for me
I also visited a couple of Classic Cars dealers (Vanguard MotorSales as an example) and I realized that some Corvette 3rd generation could match with my budget and BTW I love these cars too especially the Chrome Bumper generation
Back to France I got in touch with my contact in Portland Oregon and he proposed me a 69 convertible C3 350 Cid in an amazing shape ...
and guess what I bought it

But Mustang was still appealing me so much that I continued looking at cars for sale.
Long story short:
- I went to Chicago (Business again) and bought a 67 FB but the deal never completed
- I went to the Netherlands (Business again) and visited Geevers (you may or may noot know this huge Classic car dealer in Europe) I had seen a 67 FB that could have been a nice base for a project car: too expensive and too much work
But there was a 68 FB GT390 Britanny blue in their showroom that was so nice..... I took several pictures
But it was far beyond my budget
And finally I bought it

As previously said she comes from Pensylvania.
Here is my story so far - apologies for being a bit long
