New to Forum, Old to cars 88 GT 5.0 54k miles
My mother in law bought this automatic GT new in '88. My son drove it last summer after we refreshed some dated parts. We put in a new radiator, water pump, brakes and tires. The suspension links and shocks up front are new. Runs and drives great, but my son won't drive it anymore. We would like an enthusiast to get it for a fair price, and we are going to sell it. Shameless promotion on the forum. I've had lots of enthusiast cars, but this Fox body is my first Ford. I've started as a GM Chevy guy, became a Porsche and German car guy. I've always had a stick shift in the garage, and I'd probably keep this one if I could row my own gears in it. A trans swap is probably not too hard.
No mods. Best offer takes it. I know it's worth less than $5,000 and worth more than the $1,500 in parts we put on it last summer. 53,895 one owner miles. Maroon over red cloth. Give it a good home. PM me.

The car is shiny, and straight. No dings or dents. There is a small rust bubble on the roof near the glass sun roof. The sun roof was a dealer installed option when new.
