Its not an "assesment" its a fact. The old school GTO were rebadged LeMans coupes, fact. And either way, looks are subjective...so as far as the "step up or step out" thing I would have to assume you are talking performance? In which case, I think the new GTO is stepping just fine.

I just don't see the comparison between the 04 GTO, and the classic GTO, I will say though you made a wise choice with the colors. Btw my comment about step up or step out had nothing to do with performance, well not completely, IE we all know the 04 GTO has plenty of that, I just dont like the looks of the car and im not alone on this, it is just to plain and ordinary looking IMO, and guess what it is not made in the good old USA, oh well..and pricing, well the $$$ is way out there.
I think the popularity of the 05 retro stang and pricing should weigh heavily on the GM brass, america wants americana period..GM bring back a good looking affordable car { Camaro or retro Gto, Chevelle, Trans AM, 442, etc } with some retro looks and competitive pricing and options.Who knows maybe Chrysler would follow suit with a retro 70 Cuda or Challenger, or Roadrunner, [beep beep] GTX, just dreaming now..
I am not trying to flame you here at all btw enjoy youre car..CYA..

Thanks guys! It's good to be back. Hopefully I can get this house purchase done and over with so I can get back on modding my car. I gotta stay on it to keep up with you guys, the new 05 is hella easy to mod and get some great times. Hopefully I can hold most of ya'll that I see on the street off long enough to get back to modding!

I've done a few more little tricks...I am now 399 to the tire. After one more tiny mod next week I will easily see 405+ at the tire. I hope to get to the track soon and I hope to see more of you Stang guys on the street, I am tired of beating up on ricers...no wait, no I'm not.

Ok Shane, you have to give me the scoop on what all has been done to make 400rwhp!!!! Is this N/A or any type of forced induction?

HPE S-Cam
HPE Custom Dyno Tune
Kooks 1-7/8" Headers with Cats
K&N Aircharger
MTI Ported/Polished Throttle Body
Throttle Body Coolant Bypass
160* T-Stat
Corsa Sport Cat-Back
MTI Underdrive Pulley
On Saturday July the 9th it put down 399.26rwhp & 367.33rwtq.
I also had a SPEC stage 3 clutch and billet steel flywheel put on to help me get all of this power to the ground better.
I am about to throw a Z06 MAF on in the next week or so to hopefully get that magic 400rwhp number.
Before the HPE S-Cam my best quarter mile was 12.66 @ 110, I hope to see low 12's with this set-up, it pulls like a beast!
